Morning Star Christian Academy began in 2003 when a group of parents approached Mrs. Lymer about continuing their children’s education after Derby Christian School closed.  God has brought about many miracles and the desires of Mrs. Lymer’s heart by allowing Morning Star (MSCA) to continue.  Our school is a Christ-based, core subjects school.  Using ABeka & Bob Jones Curriculum, classes are taught by teachers who desire to see their students succeed.  We work in partnership with parents who desire that their children be given the foundation to grow and shine for the Lord.  Equipping students to communicate verbally and through the written word is an important goal.
